8.5 MM SWIR Camera Lens, 900–1700 nm, 2 MP, 2/3-Inch C-Mount

Kyptec Automation® offers an 8.5 MM SWIR Camera Lens engineered for imaging across the 900–1700 nm short-wave infrared spectral range. The lens supports 2 megapixel imaging, a 2/3-inch sensor format with approximately φ12 mm coverage, standard C-mount integration and an F1.4 aperture.

Unlike conventional visible-light optics, a SWIR lens must be designed to transmit and form useful images at wavelengths extending well beyond the visible spectrum. Optical performance within the 900–1700 nm band is therefore fundamental when integrating cameras based on SWIR-sensitive sensors.

The short 8.5 MM focal length provides the widest field-of-view potential among the Kyptec Automation® SWIR lens options in this series. This makes it particularly useful when the system must observe a comparatively large scene from limited camera distance. The 2/3-inch format specification provides defined sensor coverage for compatible SWIR cameras.

The F1.4 aperture supports strong light collection, an important consideration because SWIR imaging performance is influenced by available spectral illumination, sensor sensitivity and exposure time. Combining wide-angle geometry, 900–1700 nm spectral compatibility and C-mount mechanical integration, this lens provides a compact optical platform for professional SWIR vision-system design.
